About Us
Antwerp Polimer was established at the beginning of 2016 in Istanbul Tuzla Free Zone and started its commercial activities as of October 2016.
The Antwerp polymer team consists of young engineers with a high level of technical knowledge, with wide experience in compound and plastic technology. The establishment purpose of Antwerp Polimer is to develop new products for know-how and technology-oriented implementations in the plastic sector in our country and to contribute to the country’s economy by ensuring that many qualified products imported from abroad become producible in Turkey.
General areas of work are bitumen additives, SEBS and TPV (EPDM/PP), TPO compounds, nano-composites, thermal and electrically conductive products, moisture-absorbing and water-swelling thermoplastics. Beside, special products focused on solving specific problems of our customers are also being developed.
Antwerp Polimer serves with a monthly capacity of 500 tons installed on an area of 1000 m2 in the Tuzla Free Zone of Istanbul. Thanks to its quality and standard product-oriented approach, it was honored with ISO 9001-2015 quality certificate in a very short time.
It reflects the commercial advantages of the free zone to its customers as an affordable price and quality product.
How Do We Work?
As Antwerp Polymer, our main priority is to accurately determine the needs of our customers and to address these needs in the fastest and most efficient way. Our biggest commitment is to produce fast and same quality from first order to last order. For this reason, we first start our work by preparing “technical and financial feasibility”. The feasibility study can sometimes be a half-day study, while sometimes it can be completed within 1 month.
Antwerp Polimer, which continues its activities with the goal of a business partner rather than a manufacturer, offers all its services in strict confidentiality procedures and on a contract basis. The main thing for Antwerp polymer is that the work done with success and contributes to our country and industrialization.
R&D
Antwerp Polymer continues its research and development work together with the outstanding universities of our country, and the product uses modern equipment such as electron microscopy, FTIR, DSC, TGA… etc.in addition to basic mechanical and physical test devices, it creates qualified and innovative compounds.
